Second show - June9,1973 RFK, was first.Still have thatprogram!

Charlotte, Dec. 10, Small show!. I think I knew most people there, UNCC students and teachers, (at the Old Charlotte Coliseum). Maybe 600, or a few more. Only floor seats were sold, none of the balance of the tickets - at least 90%. At this period, at least in Charlotte, I show no cameras at all, or tape recorders, or tied dyed shirts, they did not exist in my area. Still never owned a tie-dye shirt. Only one GD tee-shirt around - with Skulls and Roses symboI,bought one in Washington June 9, ands still have it. Early wall of sound use,(some books are wrong,) my insider friends confirmed this, the Charlotte setup picture, is I think in the Europe '72, insert. And, Ihad front row tickets - not at all the June 9, 1973 setup. The American flag photo DEFINATELY taken there. During Casey Jones, someone took a fire extingisher up to the top of speakers, and blasted "smoke plumes" like a clugging train. I had a FRONT ROW ticket right in front of Garcia, less then ten feet away (behind wall of police) He had shaved off his beard (I thought " who's this, his guitar tuner?) The smoke blasts obviously surprised the Band, especially Lesh. It took me 20 years to get a copy, but a great show, although I read three songs were ruined during taping. Most all be a soundboard tape - the police refused all cameras, and maybe recorders, but the tech just was not there. A friend of mine (friend of Garcia band out West, said once that one show was impossible to find, until an on-line release by the Band. I have my ticket stub SOMEWHERE and run across it on occasion (and promised to give it to my aforementioned friend). I gave her husband B. B. King's guitar pick that I picked up off the stage after he broke it and dropped it there. Besides the "train smoke", I best remember drunken jerk with yard-long bload hair, shirtless, a few rows behide me,who constantly SCREAMED "Bend then strings, Jerry, Bend 'them strings, strings!- Alvin Lee! - Johnny Winter!" And etc. - same guy ruined other concerts during this time. I.m surprized, I can't hear him on the show recording. Couldn't care less about what he looked like (it was the time), but REAL rude. How do I get on attended list above?
