Grateful Dead - Swing Auditorium - San Berdoo, CA
I managed to find the information on the date of my first dead concert at the Swing Auditorium. It was at Swing Auditorium on 1969-12-13. Musta been a warm night for us to be barefoot. Thank you for your song list. By the way, some of the Merry Pranksters were there in what looked like green leotards and tights helping to set up and tear down the stage.

    My First Dead Show
I may be entirely wrong, but I could've sworn my first Dead show was at the Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino, CA. in what had to have been sometime in the summer of '68(we were all barefoot so it had to be warm weather). This show marked several very distinct occurances that affected me strongly all in that one night. I don't remember the date but I do remember the tickets were only $1.50 (maybe $2.50)and we bought them at a drug store (pharmacy) in Riverside, CA. The show dates list for 1968 do not list this concert . I admit it was a very psychedelic experience but it was in the summer that I graduated high school, 1968. If the show I'm referring to (with the Flying Burrito Bros., featuring Gram Parsons on most vocals, and Country Joe and the Fish) did take place in '68, please verify this for me. If it did I wonder how it managed not get on the list. Not criticizing, just a little confused. If anyone knows the answer it would be much appreciated. Thank you very much, Teadhead
