    Obscure
Is to me because of the out of the way places I got to see them play. Boise, Lake Placid, Park West and Columbia SC. Meaning not the big market city's. I enjoyed when the crowd was more mellow and not in your face loud and crazy.

    Boutwell
weallen: From the pictures it looks like we must have been standing almost next to each other. Perhaps even shared a joint! Think I was second row right for that one and second row left for the other.

    Obscure?
Why is a show played in Birmingham so obscure? Or is it just Birmingham? The band had lots of friends there and the Boutwell was a perfectly fine auditorium. Saw two great Grateful Dead shows there and a lot of other good bands too. Always managed to be right up front in joint throwing distance of the stage each time. Sorry you missed it.

Love these obscure places the band played. I liked being at this type of show and blow away the locals with our side show. To bad is still 6 months from my time, yet still. Am here this morning. Might just be the shortest of all Shakedown Streets & something, hmm
