My first Show!

This was my first show! I have a few small remembrances--Viola Lee Blues was great, they seemed to rotate between singers a lot--Phil sang more songs then. Jerry's playing/lead phrasing seemed choppy--no long, soaring leads during those days. And It's All Over Now, Baby Blue was sweet.

this was a great smaller venue, too bad it didn't last long!

My First Show!

Don't remember specifics, but Viola Lee Blues and It's All Over Now, Baby Blue were played. My impressions were that Jerry's leads were choppy--I kept waiting for him to take a long, soaring lead and he never did. Also, they mixed the lead singing up quite a bit--Jerry, then Phil (he did a lot of singing then), the Bob, then Pigpen. This was a great venue, too bad it didn't last long.
