    My First Dead Show
    I started dating my husband in November of 82 and in December of 82 he whisked me and three of his friends away to Oakland for 5 days of Dead shows. I was definately thrown into the thick of things. Camping right outside the building for a week. It was crazy! It was the start of a whole new adventure for me!

    My first day as a California resident!
    Four days on a Greyhound, up the stairs from Lake Merritt BART and the first person I see is Mike Quinn. Hey Mike Quinn, where ya been? He staked me to some(ahem)wares and I got right to work. Also my first close up view of Bill Graham. When folks were trying to gain entry by scaling the wall and going in through the second floor window, Bill Graham was pulling them down by the pants leg personally! Gee whiz guy!
