    here today "Truckin"
This is the "Truckin" show the one that blew out the floor in the back of the dance hall later called the Kaisers, loved the place. Seeing how there have been video uploads of the 26th and 28th thought I would listen to entire run of shows each morning today am on this one. Dam fine sound and energy is threw the roof. As it always seemed to be on the nights leading up to new years. Reviewer: ginfizzlove - December 12, 2004 Subject: In Memory of Truckin' Dec 27 1980 These 5 shows in Oakland were my 8th through 12th shows ever. I was just starting to get what it was all about. I had been dancing madly during every note of this show, and made my way from the back of the floor to the front lobby, where concrete dust was flying all around, and people were still dancing. Apparently, during Truckin', the energy was so high that a huge block of the tile floor caved in, and there was yellow 'CAUTION' tape to keep people from falling in. The next night there was plywood covering the hole, upon which someone wrote in black marker, "In Memory of Truckin' Dec 27 1980." Thank you for the trip in the way back machine.
