    Gumby vs Godzilla
Maybe just coincidental, but I'm fairly certain that I witnessed these same shenanigans however it was outdoors. Like Ventura or Shoreline possibly. Then again, it has been many years and many shows ago. All a blast anyway. Wish I could do it all again . FUN, FUN, FUN.

    Gumby vs Godzilla
I recall a massive Birdsong from this show & the awesome battle between Gumby & Godzilla. The floor was packed durring the break & at one point one of those 6 foot tall blow-up Godzillas popped up above the crowd. Then from the other side of the floor, a six foot blow-up Gumby appeared - the crowd roared and the two headed towards each other thanks to the well tuned crowd. When they met in the middle the crowd yelled even louder - both fighters clashing heroically - then they were pulled below the crowd amidst the battle - the Arena went quiet & then Gumby popped up from the crowd to the roaring approval of all. Only at a Grateful Dead show.... Russ
