The official poster for these Uptown shows was a red-ink drawing of a little red rooster w/ a dogtag saying just that. After the 1st show, I wanted one of the posters hanging in the beautiful, ornate Uptown Theater lobby so, being uncharacteristically smart, I went down to the basement office of the theater manager and asked for one. She said sure, after the 3d show, though. So I asked for a letter (on Uptown stationery) giving me permission. After the last show, I was lifted up to get one off the wall and was immediately pulled down by security. I told them to look in my back pocket; the poster hangs in my house to this day - a wonderful reminder of some great shows!
Great show. Phenomenal venue!!!
I will never ever forget every single able body literally jumping to the beat of JohnnyBGoode...I was in the the third row of the balcony and turned around because it felt like the entire balcony was moving...well dammit it was! they had us all in a such an excited state the entire balcony was bouncing up and down several inches!
(this has been confirmed over the years by discussions with othres there--including those completely sober!)
