Cold Snow f'sure

After a long drive from Boulder across the wintry plains with my trusty golden retriever, Ace, and a cool bottle of Johnny Walker Swing , I arrived in Madison to see high piles of snow and single digit temperatures. Inside the arena, things warmed up quick. I was bummed being unable to locate my friends from Minnesota. This show is preserved as a Dick's Picks selection: the first set absolutely rocked, especially Music Never Stopped. Next day I slid south across miles of Illinois ice to start a new job in Louisiana, after enjoying two days of Mardi Gras!
