My wife and I went w/ Kav
Parked for free on a street in a bad section of town, we were running late. Then The Neville Bros showed up mid set in 2 great way to cap it.

    Short Show
I loved the 2nd set with the Nevilles but it seemed to make the set very quick and the show was over before you knew it.Awesome Knockin', totally thought the Arena was going to open the roof which would have blown everybody's mind. I think that old thing was rusted shut back in the 70's though. Space was a good come down from Knockin'; then a quick Good Lovin' and boom... JBG encore and out the door. I swear it wasn't barely dark out, although my over dialated pupils may have accounted for the seemingly boundless amounts of light in the parking lot. PA had some strange liquor laws. Trying to buy beer after the show was a trip in itself.

This is the first Dead show I ever attended, and it was really fun. I remember really wanting to hear Shakedown St. and they played it first song, second set and it totally rocked! I was one happy camper...what a blast! Plus, the Neville Brothers came out later on and played Aiko-Aiko which was really good too. This one show definitely got me hooked! It was a really good time. ---------- Oh, what I want to know is are you kind?
