The night my car caught fire!

I had 2nd row center tickets with my buddy from the mail-in ticket lottery! I moved all my worldly possessions out of my dorm room at Brown as I had just graduated and my car had issues driving to Boston. We made it to the exit and had to push the car into an illegal spot in Chinatown(while starting to peak), walking distance to the Music hall. My car caught fire and we pulled the fire alarm on the street. When the fire department arrived, I told them we had to go and asked him to lock the car when they were done. He said he would if they didn’t have to break any windows. The car was loaded, all my clothes, stereo, 100’s of hours of dead tapes & so much more. Walked to the show, missed the first song. Actually sat in back of another friend, Jordan, who was in the 1st row! Went back to the car after the show with my buddy Scott, who also sat with us in the 2nd row. Unloaded everything in the car to his van and never saw the car again(did get a lot of mail from Boston Police though until it finally went to auction)!

    No NRPS...Great Mission
Definitely no NRPS. I was about 12 rows back. Mission in the Rain was spectacular. Taped the show on a little handheld cassette deck. Missed opening night, made the other three.

Oh my! These were the first 2 nights I ever saw The Dead. In Boston. Wow takes me back. I was 18 years old. What an initiation, theatre shows to start. There were no NRPS just the Dead and some fresh ones.if you know what I mean? It was an amazing experience for me. The rest as they say is his-to-ry. Miss those care free days. Young & full of life. Looking to explore.
