    The Bear Makes it Special!!
What I remember most about the second night was meeting the "Bear" (Owsley Stanley). Much after that was mystical trip through the sights and sounds of the Grateful Dead. Thank you, Mr. Stanley, for turning a bad scene into an experience I will never forget. The "heat" in Lousiville would have busted you for smiling on a sunny day and the Dead encored with I Fight the Law; I thought the roof was gonna come down.

    Don't Ease
This was the only time i have ever seen them play the same song two consecutive nights Don't Ease ended set 1 the night before. Two excellant shows and a great summer tour overall. 1993 showed how they boys changed their sound like true artisans. Always recreating and creating what they did the best making us grateful over and over again !

I remember this one because I was stuck in Maysville, KY all summer working on a project. One of the few rays of light during that time was driving across the state for one show (I think it was a 3 or 4 hour drive), then driving back that night so I could make an early morning meeting. I remember that Peggy-O, one of those times Jerry's voice was great and his enunciation was crisp. I also remember having a seat way up top, I was solo, and there was so much smoke in there I was choking
