the lottery
just moved to Colorado from east coast in 75 and was freaked out that the boys hadn't played there for 5 years (it was actually 3 I later learned) so we drove back and caught as many as we could. The lottery was weird cuz you didn't know what shows you would get.
I started sending the dead postcards of Red Rocks as soon as I got to Denver letting them know what an amazing venue it was. I like to believe that brought them to the rocks in 77.
