    1/2 Step Excitement
Anybody know what caused the uproar of cheering during Mississippi 1/2 Step? Was it bass bombs from Phil? Jerry was singing "Nailed a retread to my feet..." Love the audience tapes because someone screams after a jam and just before Bobby resumes singing. It sounds like part of the music, which it is. We are all part of the music.

Stayed in a campground the days of the shows where there was a swimming area. Apparently there was an outbreak of a condition called "swimmers itch" in the lake that day and I and several hundred others spent that entire show dancing and scratching crazily in a contortion of bodies like I have never seen before or since.Tim

We ran into Brent in the hotel bar after the show and asked him the name of the song, he said either Blow Away or something else that we can't remember....we said we had written down Blow Away when we wrote out the set list. The Alpine shows were great, drinking in the bar with the band was great too. Lake
