Sea Stones & The Big System
If memory serves me correctly, didn't Phil & Ned Lagin do the Sea Stones stuff that night, either to open or during the break? I seem to remember that, or was that audio interlude due to something else I may or may not have, ah, imbibed by accident. If anyone can confirm, drop me a note...
The Big System almost touched the horizontal steel rafters in the PCC. Whew, what a long, long, long crazy night! This (my second) show launched my ass firmly into the Land of The Dead for good!
Location
My GF and I drove up from Queens in her yellow bug and we got there a little late, maybe the 3rd or 4th song. We went straight down to the front (you could do that in the early days) and I was amazed!!!! Jerry was clean shaven and Phil had the beard!!!! Was it really Jerry?? The jam on Weather Report laid that question to rest!! Loved the jam opening up the 2nd set into china/ryder (thanks for including it in DP12) and, of course, Spanish Jam and the Eyes encore!!!! Typical Great Show from '74!!!! Yes!!!
