    Hot First Set
Having seen more than 250+ shows, the first set was one of the hottest sets I'd remember seeing! New Speedway Boogie into Smokestack Lighting was unforgettable.

terrapinT- I remember my friend calling Casey Jones out of the blue. I didn't get into the show but I remember people rushing the the hill and climbing the wall. It was crazy. The scene was great and I had a lot of fun.

Dan Healy calibrated the sound system during To Lay Me Down, and the tones were audible above the music. It was really strange. Very quiet but clear-sounding audio mix. ". . . Music is the best!" (fz)

I will never forget tlmd, I thought the music stopped twice, everything went to slow motion earlier. That makes sense to me about the sound I knew something was up. Hell of a show.

I'll never forget this show. This was the first and only time that I mail ordered tickets. I received Premium seats! I was in Sec A, Row H, Seat 4. In this section, it was like being in the 4th row! I was on Phil's side and I remember what looked like his family dancing on stage near him to the far left. I could be totally wrong, but I always told people it was Phil's kids. It was also totally cool to see the band members communicating. It was so mesmerizing. I remember thinking that I wouldn't like being in the pavillion cuz I wouldn't be able to dance enough, but who cares when you are that close!! This was also the first time I heard Estimated Prophet and I loved how all the hippy girls had their special dance to this. Love that song!!
