    my first GD concert
my first and only GD concert. I was only 17 yrs old and had bunked into the Rainbow as we lived in finsbury park area and knew all the easy access points at the rear of theatre. From what i remember It was quite empty that night and everyone was standing, not seated, Me and a few friends looked so out of place in our Soulboy clothes as most fans was ageing Hippys but very very frieindly at that. A few hippies even gave us some Hash cakes and these tiny little black pills which i was to later to find out were black micro-dot LSD!! These actually kicked in when the BIG drum solo started (also recalled by cosmicbadger above)...OMG what a Trip...But never again-lol

the wonderful and much missed Rainbow..no seats downstairs so I got right up front for a while. My friend lost it a bit during Drums and wanted to leave..but then Truckin' brought him right back on board!!
