    1st Show

Bought a package deal with some tour organizing outfit which included a ticket and return bus ride and headed down to the capital of Ny with my homey Keith M. I’ve always been sorry to have not seen Brent as his era is by far my favourite, but considering I was born in 1976 this was the soonest I could get there. Was taken back as by the huge vibrant scene as any first timer was, and loved every aspect and moment untillll I had a bit of a bad trip when I almost got trampled by state police on their damn horses leaving the show. Welcome to the big leagues son!!! Some how met up with our crew - Dave Mc, Sonia, Lang, & Sebby and was blown away by the show. Was glad to have caught a few goodies including 9.20.91, 3.20.92 and 3.27.93. God I miss those days and relive them in my mind and body all the time!!!

    Parking garage
We spent the second two nights in the parking garage behind the arena. What a party that was. Grilled cheese never tasted so good. The knicherbocker staff opened the back doors so we could hear the show. Couldn't find tickets for any of these 3 shows and weren't willing to pay muchos $$ to scalper scum. I wish I could find my old video cam footage of the lot scene.

Sunday night was the magic one on this run, especially the second set. A very strong, powerful Samson set the tone, and they followed through right to the end. Standing at the exact back and top of the Knick, Jerry and the boys took me out to the edge of sanity and brought me back. I will forever consider The Wheel my favorite Dead song as a result. Vince really shines on this show. The scene in the lots after was almost as fun.
