    Mardi Gras
The spectacle of the parade makes this memorable for me. I winced as the Dead tried (and failed) to understand the more traditional stylings of the DDBB on Iko. I never liked the Dead's version of that anyway and this made it so much worse. But the scene was way cool and I'd do it all over if I could.

    Bob Dylan at this show...
Bob Dylan was at this show to take the publicity photo's for the upcoming Dylan/Dead Summer Tour. They asked him if he wanted to sit in and he told them that he just wanted to watch a couple of numbers and then had to catch a plane back to L.A. Quinn was the bands way of acknowledging him. Thank you, and Stay In Touch!

    My First Mardi Gras
My First Mardi Gras experience!! The brass band(from New Orleans) played with the Dead as a parade of floats giant heads etc made its way around one of my favorite venues. A very long Iko.The band was now in fine form and ready to begin touring again.
