I still feel really bad for Bert. We walked the lot for hours trying to score tickets, but to no avail. We gave up with about 15 minutes before showtime. We walked back to my car for a phatty when there she was, Amy, my ex & great friend who had been looking for me all day with my 1st miracle. Sorry Bert, thank you Amy!

    3/30/88 My first show !
All I know is that my life changed for the better after going to my first Dead show. That night is still a highlight of my life. Great show with my best friend. Hearing Bertha open the show when all I was saying all day is " I hope they play Bertha ! " The band could have stopped after they finished Bertha and it would have been just fine !As we are all walking out of the venue after the show, my bro and I look at each other and say " When are we going again ? " MANY MORE TIMES !
