    3rd night...
Took the train down from C.W. Post, Long Island U. for 2 shows! Took some liquid brown 1st night w/ Joel M. Had to train back to school for class but did a turn around and trained back to Philly for this show! Sober night indeed but I remember hanging with two heavy metal rock and roll types who were blown away by what they saw and heard! classic!

    3rd night
Attended all 3 nights at the Spectrum and this one I thought was the most rockin..Unfortunately my buddy Marc decided to take some acid and totally wigged out, at one point even throwing a lit cigarette into some chicks hair who was sitting two rows in front of our crew. Apparently he thought she was his ex-girlfriend there with some other dude. Needless to say his stupidity brought us all down. Aside from Marc I had a killer time . We were just to the left of the stage on Phil's side and the band was really tight that night. The dont ease stands out for me cause Brent went nuts on the organ solo. Shazam!

Best of both worlds, taped radio broadcast and made it to the show.Despite being in the tinny old Spectrum, Jerry's guitar was absolutely perfect, the Desolation Row solos were pure Jer, and I doubt there were ever more soulful versions of China Doll and Brokedown Palace. Give it a listen if you can, you'll see what I mean.

First night was great, Until. . . . after the couldn't find my people and well after wandering aimlessly for hours I finally decided to sleep in a hedge row in some God forsaken park with a bunch of junkies and bums and vagerants and such. I woke the next morning so sick, so freaking sick. I miracled my ticket to the second night, slept through in the bus (I found my people in the lot of course) and into the next day. show time and I was still feeling in the throws didn't know if I was going to make it but I ended up dancin the illness away (the dead as medicine)

My second show - I just didn't get it after my first show. Opens with an absolutely stellar Jack Straw > Franklins. The rest follows suit. Thank G_d I decided to check things out for a second time. I've been hooked ever since this excellent show.
