Second that MSG Emotion
fenario80 --
You are Dead on -- MSG challenged the boys, and they played it well. It's nothing to look at, and the sound isn't great, but I think Phil loved making it shake, and he could when the spirit moved him.
And yeah, I was at both shows, and the 9th stands out so much more to me, but the Stella Blue and the Bird on the 10th were very personal and emotionally played.

I'm with a lot of folks in believing that the Garden often brought out the best in the band, and this is probably the all-around most amazing show I ever attended. Every song played to its fullest, and I vividly remember how my jaw dropped during the quiet parts of Stella Blue - 22,000 people holding their collective breath. Awesome.
