Vince...

This was my first Vince show. Actually I was not looking forward to this show...

I had not seen The Grateful Dead in a few years, and had known Vince from the Tubes. I used to baby sit the lead singers kids and Vince was around when I would visit California.

A few years after one of the last Tubes shows Vince was over at the Tubes practice space and needed a ride home. I had my van at the time and he had some stuff he wanted out of the practice space, so I gave him a lift.

During the ride my driver side window was down and he said "Yo... Stack some glass man!" I had no idea what he meant until he said "Your window buddy!"

When he got out of the car I said to my friend "Oh my god what a loser!"

And now...That loser was in one of my favorite bands.

Anyway... This run of shows blew my mind!

After seeing these shows... "Stack some glass man" was
alright!

Then he became a loser again by killing himself.
