    Great concert
I was a freshman student at TCU and I didn't have any money for a ticket, so I walked over to Daniel Meyer Colosseum early in the morning and started helping set up chairs. At lunch break I got a friend Mike Hoseman from Brachman Hall to join me. At some point mid afternoon, someone came by and gave us all access passes. We went out and threw around a football with Phil and Jerry, and we ended up backstage smoking with the band. My buddy Mike and I got to sit in the front row of an empty colosseum while they did their sound check for about 45 minutes before they let anyone in. We sat on stage behind the PA speakers for the show. Incredible experience.

My memory was like I was on another planet, wow what a ride. I went out the next day and bought all the albums they recorded. Jerry played steel guitair with NRPS, and when he came out with the Dead, I said to the people around me, hey that guy played with the first band, everyone started laughing really hard and quoted thats Jerry Garcia man! I was totally mesmorized buy the whole sene, I was a kid of 16 years old. It was a long strange trip.
