Drove cross country from
Drove cross country from Maryland to Florida to California in November 87. Got into LA on Nov 15 and checked out the LA Times for concerts. Saw that the Dead were playing in Long Beach. Drove to Long Beach and was able to buy a ticket from someone with an extra. Great concert.
Locations
I did not see a lot of shows after 1982, and most of them were a little disappointing to me - until this one. Second Set was hard-rocking and nearly flawless. It was great to see them in such fine form again after the less-than-stellar Anaheim Dylan & The Dead show.
