This was one of those anticipated shows. The gold tickets, the ride to NJ, the small venue.

I recall it was on WNEW FM and whenever the Dead were on the radio we would gather up our cassette decks and plug into my TAPE OUT/REC connections on my Kenwood KR-4600.
Let's see; Pete's TEAC-A400, My TEAC A-380 and Vic's TEAC A-380.
Always envied those who had and recorded shows and 1/4 and 1/2 tracj TEAC Reel to Reel's, but they were way too expensive!
And analog delay systems that were over $1000. Then the digital signal processing came along. Remember 1985 and graduate school studying the discrete fourier transform and discrete fourier series. I recal all that math that is commonplace in Adobe Audition and Adobe Soundbooth.
