Grateful Dead

Just like your favorite jam, things are going to get a bit funky on Dead.net over the next week or so. Community accounts will be temporarily closed October 16th-17th and may be under further maintenance through October 22nd. But rest assured, we will be back up and better than ever shortly thereafter. Stay tuned! Thanks!

First Dead Show and first show at the FABULOUS FOX!

chicago bob:

I don't know which show we attended that year.

Traveling from Carbondale w/clinicals and being searched for the first time upon entry to a show lead to a near disaster.

I distinctly recall being very GRATEFUL for not getting busted and enjoying the show while straddling the railing at the FABULOUS FOX (try that today). I also recall the band playing on and on and being as near Nirvana as one can be here on terra firma.

Was Donna at this show? I think I would have re- membered her beauty and voice. Some literature indicates she was a band member for Europe "72 HELP?!!!!!!

This was my first Dead show.

This was my first Dead show. Yes, Donna was there, but not on stage the entire time.
