I graduated from Las Lomas High School in 1979. In 1966 I had no clue about any music other than what was on KFRC.
It's quite a trip knowing the Dead played my high school in the past. I would love to read more details. Come on, you suburbanites! Share! Please post more details if you can...

oakland dupree-- This was my first Grateful Dead show.there were maybe 50 -100 curiosity seekers . Very few teens like me. It was a free arts&lectures type concert in the afternoon. Jerry wore a yellow pigpen t shirt.. they were eating cookies offered them to audience. No takers. LOUD and good! Life changing concert for me.Trippy.--- someone passed out Golden Road to Unlimited Devotion fliers. A week or so later , I journeyed to 710 Ashbury and purchased a Pigpen long sleeve olive green polo shirt with turtle neck from MG. A few years later gifted it to Debbie , background singer on Aoxomoxoa..
