this was the show that 'merged' into the early show as the early show ran late, the crowd in the back of the gym waiting to get in got restless and the rest is history.

The recordings of the famous SUNY Stony Brook shows, which were recorded by the student concert organisation (not by the Dead crew), apparently still reside in the college library. I wonder if students can use their library cards to borrow the reel to reels tapes, if they haven't fallen apart already!!
