    La Bamba?
    I can't remember the historical context of this song, but it seemed to be way out there for the Dead to be covering. I still haven't figured that one out. ...but there is some very high energy there...but they didn't stick with it very long. I think this is when Mark came down from Harrisonburg and flopped in the lot...he might still be seeing stars from that one? Scarlet>Fire!!!

    This was my 21st Birthday and while only my fifth show....where did I spend my 21st? 800 miles from school in Landover with the band. Reflecting on it, it seems about right!!! lol....

la bamba was a huge hit, from the movie of the same name. you heard it everywhere. as we were walking in my buddy Dan says, "I wanna hear La Bamba". we all laughed. weirdest song call I've ever witnessed
