    Jack Straw - Jerry Rips
Not only is this whole show great but I think this might be my favorite Jack Straw ever. Not the best vocally but Jerry's guitar is sweeeeeet! Not only that but he absolutely shreads the main solo, incredible guitar work. I can't believe I was there that night and actually missed part of the Jack Straw while filing into the garden. I would love to get a great copy of this show, mine isn't that great, if only I were a little more technically savy

The transition into Let it Grow is one of the best I've ever heard in any GD era. I had a chance to be there, too.

Check out the transition from UJB into Let it Grow. It's the perfect balance of finesse and thunder. GD at thier finest, yes, in the 90's.

This was an excellent show. Bruce Hornsby was there for all the MSG shows. However, Clearence Clemens was not at this show or the prior night's show.

this was my only show of this run - actually a last second miracle from a co-worker. I wasn't going to go because I was still pretty broken up about Brent's passing. So, not knowing what to expect, I made my way in to the city, and knew that somehow, we'd survive. During Big River, Garcia had the biggest grin playing off of Hornsby, and I thought maybe, just maybe, there would be a new renaissance era of the band. Certainly, I saw the Jerry enjoyed playing w/ Bruce, and to see him that happy, and playing so well, gave me hope.

This was my first show. I wasn't sure which one of the MSG shows in '90 I went to until I looked it up and saw the set list. That night was definitely a life changing evening for me. I was 17 and became an instant dead-head. I was tripping balls, but I distinctly remember Help/slip/Frank, Stella Blue, and Quinn. That night I had the realization that the whole universe was full of goodness, and all the evil things were just pitiful drops in a sea of love.
