    First Missed Show

Sat outside this one sick with the flu and most upset that I couldn’t get in. Lesson learned, mail order early fool! It was the early 90s and tickets were scarce! My buddy Keith scored one for $100 and we all had sticker shock. I remember guys had figured out a way to get in through a busted vent grill and then wormed their way through the Garden heating ducts until they could out somewhere on the inside all dirty as fuck. I wasn’t down, forget that madness! I thought about it though. Thanks to J Cochran for letting me chill in his Felix van with his German Shepard to keep warm while everyone else went in and I was sick as a dog, with a dog!

    Boston Garden 91
This is the show during set break that I was standing in the corridor off the floor with my brother drinking a beer and smoking a cigarette. There was girl strapped to a gurney and she kept ripping the sheet off of her yelling I am beautiful, completely naked, the medics would stop pick up the sheet and cover her again, 5 feet later she would rip it off again and declare I am beautiful. This show made me comeback the next night and score a ticket since I thought they would crush it and they did.

    Brucey
This is a fantastic show among this Garden run especially because the boys were in top form and Brucy was ripping it up. In particular, the Eyes of the World is MASTERFUL with the closeout jam finding a multitude of interplay between everyone. then they all leave the stage except Bruce and the drummers and he takes OFF on a mind-bending piano-romp along with Billy and Mickey. A definite highlight from an incredible show among top notch performances each night of the run.
