Quite the Treat

An old run-down theater in a depressed urban armpit, and the Dead stop in and work their magic. Only 15-years-old, but well aware that I was hearing some history, with the Baby Blue, and extend Other One with the Cryptical Envelopment, and the backwards Going Down the Road and Not Fade Away. Kind of like a last farewell to the intimate, ballroom-type shows, as it would pretty much be stadiums and walls of sound after this.

Big River

Only Dead show I ever went to where they opened the doors and I was one of the first wave of people in and the Band was already on stage playing Big River. Maybe in 4th or 5th row of open seating.
