    Not sure which day I attended this Straight Theater gig, so we'll do the comment here. I had seen the dead a number of times before this, and liked them. But frankly I was more impressed at that time with the Jefferson Airplane and Big Brother - until I walked into the Straight Theater that weekend and heard the Dead with two drummers. What an amazing difference that made. I knew then that the Dead were on to something quite incredible. And it was only up from there.
