I agree whole heartedly with the concerns surrounding the new SYF shirt. I purchased the shirt solely on the design. Not till after I purchased the shirt did I check the "ingredients" and read the postings. Live and learn I suppose. But I do have to say, it is still a pretty cool design.
I totally agree with the others complaints. T-Shirts should always be 100% cotton or organic cotton HEMP mix...
And Made In the USA for goodness sakes... It isn't that hard to do the right thing! It is us hard working Americans supporting the band, not those getting paid prison labor wages in Mexico, China, or other third world countries used for clothing manufacture.
Some items are hard to find made here but t-shirts, long sleeved shirts, sweat shirts, and hoodies made here are plentiful.
Just received mine today. Sure it's a 50/50 blend, but still a pretty sweet T. And I challenge anyone to take a look at what they have on right now and not find something that is "probably not made here". Unless you're wearing nothing sitting at your computer.(Creepy!)
Couldn't agree more with previous two comments. Exclusively created polyester, $25 and probably not made here either, nice! Even the 100% cotton has gotten thinner. My $25 went to next years Dave's pix, so that worked out well. Keep up the good work.
I was gonna order one; nice design. But 5050? Why oh why?
You guys come up with a nice design that's not too cartoonie for a change and then put it on a 50/50 blend t-shirt - 50% cotton and 50% petroleum waste by-product. What in the world is wrong with you people out there? First exclusivity with the music releases and now polyester t-shirts, almost always black, and when it is cotton it's some cheesy thin crap like with the Skull and Roses t-shirt. Jeez. Must have something to do with the earthquakes and all that shaking.
Will the last real Dead Head in the Grateful Dead's business office please dose everyone who's left behind before then locking the doors and absconding with the contents of the Vault. Not to worry: "They're never gonna miss us..."
