Grateful Dead

Welcome to the Sunshine Daydream Boutique.

On August 27, 1972, fresh off their now-legendary European tour, the Grateful Dead traveled to Veneta, OR and reunited with the Merry Pranksters for a common cause – to throw a benefit concert for the Kesey family’s Springfield Creamery. A stage was erected under the hot Oregon sun at the Olde Renaissance Fairgrounds, tickets were printed on the fronts of the Creamery’s yogurt labels, and the rest is history…

Blair's Veneta Blog post

I just came across this again, nice blog post from BlairJ about both Venetas.... (Note how he says it *will* be released). I'm still so excited about the Sunshine Daydream release that I feel almost guilty asking for this, but I would love a Veneta 82 release (wouldn't that be a nice DaP 8 to compliment Sunshine Daydream?)

An absolute gem of a show.

An absolute gem of a show. The 2nd set is as good as it gets. Had the privilege of being there. Personal favorite among ~150 shows experienced live.
