Chatroom Lexicon: A Guide for the Perplexed

TigerLilly suggests that (as no doubt befits its somewhat bumpy shakedown phase) our beloved chat room has rapidly evolved a culture, and a distinctive language, of its own, which may be a bit unnerving to new arrivals who left their Babel Fish at home.

So here it is, our very own user-defined and constantly evolving guide to the latest terminology and linguistic trends.

Grateful Dead Movie Characters - Where Are They Now?

granfallooon had a darn good idea for a topic, so here it is:

I'm sure a lot of us would like to know more about the players and heroes from the Grateful Dead Movie. maybe some info on who they are, where are they now etc. a few folks come to mind: the "chicklets" guy that lip synched US Blues at the edge of the stage, the 2 guys that were discussing royalties for being filmed (in particular the guy that says "there is nothing like a GD concert"), the dancing cowboy/hippie at the start of SugMag and the space cadet that was "just getting my space together" after he "just came from a phone call" among other assorted characters. Just a thought.

If you have any inside knowledge, or questions of your own, post here!

Amazing Good Scenes

Okay, there were those really bad scenes. But on the other hand, there were those other scenes, or at least moments, that were the straight shot of pure bliss. Talk about them here!

Really Bad Scenes

In today's Today in Deadhead History, aud mentions a show she never wants to revisit, even on tape, because the scene was so ugly. And I think the same is true of various shows for a lot of us.

Thug security. Gate crashers. Drunken concertgoers puking on your bare feet. You know. Bad scenes. Post here.

The Summer of Love

This being its 40th anniversary, the fabled Summer of Love ("if you're going to San Francisco...") is getting a lot of media attention. If you were there, tell us your story! Thanks to Hal R for the suggestion!
