Bob Weir, Phil Lesh and their group Furthur continued the Dead tradition of a hometown New Year’s Eve concert. Recorded live at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco this past New Year’s Eve and hosted by Gary Lambert, the band played three full sets – nearly four hours of amazing live music! SiriusXM will rebroadcast this incredible show on January 8 at 12 noon, January 9 at 9pm, January 11 at 12 Noon, January 13 at 3am and January 15 at 9pm (all times Eastern). Exclusively on the Grateful Dead Channel, Sirius channel 32 and XM channel 57.

SIRIUS XM’s Grateful Dead Channel continues the tradition of its annual “Jerry Week,” a series of special programming honoring legendary Grateful Dead front man Jerry Garcia with music, archival interviews and rarely heard concerts. “Jerry Week” will launch on the anniversary of Garcia’s birthday, August 1, and will end on the anniversary of his death, August 9. During “Jerry Week,” listeners will hear seven Jerry Garcia solo concerts, both electric and acoustic, as well as recorded songs from his various side projects.

Grateful Dead archivist David Lemieux is your host for an exclusive exploration of the latest release in the Road Trips series. Recorded at New York City’s Fillmore East in May of 1970, the album is an amazing aural adventure of one of the band’s early career highlights. Also, this special will feature music not available on the official release as an extra for SIRIUS|XM Dead Heads! SIRIUS XM’s Grateful Dead Channel (SIRIUS channel 32 and XM channel 57) is set to broadcast a live concert by Furthur, the rock band founded by Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Phil Lesh. The concert will air Sunday, February 14 at 7:30pm ET, live from Cornell University’s Barton Hall. Barton Hall is the site of the long-revered Grateful Dead performance from the Spring of 1977, which some Dead Heads cite as the best ever in their long touring history.

Must be at least 18 years old. Must be enrolled in a college or university and be receiving academic credit for the internship (all internships are UNPAID). Must work a minimum of 20 hours per week; no more than 40.
