    30 days 2022

Thanks for continuing the 30 Days of Dead releases.
In the past a file was included which contains info about the show like date, place. It's useful to have this created as part of the download so it can be added to music apps like Music on macOS. Of course it's not hard to get it off the web site though. Or more conveniently, to create the MP3 files with the info embedded in the tag/metadata info.

    This was my First Show!

Senior year of College [Not Lafayette] I finally got on the bus.
Friends came down to see the show as well. I've been recommending this show, and in fact that entire beginning of Brent's first tour. Check them all out, and you won't be disappointed.

Had to dig just a little bit to find this one. Thought I had it, but hit a snag and had to keep searching.

Thanks, Dave & crew, for another year of 30 Days of Dead fun & community!
I hope each of you is healthy & happy and ready to rock & roll.
So fun waiting up for this treat on Halloween night to start this journey. My playground for a month! Looking forward to the many roads we're about to travel.
Re today's track, many clues in the song made it pretty much a gimme. So now I just might get some sleep tonight.
CHEERS!

The slide is so smooth and fluid. Had fun finding this one. Had it narrowed down pretty good. Glad this first one was fairly easy to get me back in the swing of utilizing my methods.

hey everyone
happy november 1st
hope you had a good year. thanks dave as i have been counting down to this for a while.
so happy to be on the hunt even when you toss out one that’s easy for me.
nice to see posts from the tried and true veterans

good hunting.
joel

edit:
happy bday d-rae
had a great time setting up the album to come on my music platform, with new art.
set up my new spreadsheet.
seems the venue / city section has been upgraded a bit. could that possibly been in response to 1 venue - 3 name problems from years past
already got msg set. these runs were key to my early education and i will never forget the explosion of joy after space in 83 when saint started.
yahoo i love this, highlight of my year, year 9 for me started out getting a handful, my record is 18, never won a prize but love listening to them as an album on road trips.
ttys my dear friends

My only method is my DeadBase IX. Has never let me down, although my success rate is only about 33%. Still have fun, and have won the daily prize twice (calendar and a 7" single). Don't have time to "synch", no idea how to do that, and would not do it anyways. Seems like that makes it too easy, since the people that do that seem to get the right answer every day. Hope there is an "unknown location" this year. Have fun everyone!! That Grand Prize is a very sweet prize.

I try and narrow it down after a listen, then hit Deadlists. That usually helps to narrow it down further, then I hit the Archive.

Welcome back everybody for year number 13! I never think I have the stamina to do this again, but it always starts on my birthday and I get sucked right in. Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines!

I submitted my guess, it failed with an error, then I immediately hit submit again, and I think it took it. Then it woudn't let me post this comment. Had to clear my browser history, which for some reason took forever. But day one is done!

I suck at this but I'm glad it's back for the 13th year! I refuse to use the digital tools available to narrow down the answer... Let's go...

I think I got this one... a few clues really helped to narrow down the search. An easier one just means I will spend too much time trying to solve the daily puzzle for the rest of the month.

Grate to be back and grooving righteously this penultimate month of 2022.

Thanks to Dave and all the generous music meisters behind the scenes who put this on every year, and welcome back everyone and anyone who joins us this year. No hints, just thanks!

I love 30 Days of Dead! I was a rookie last year -- and I was a bit rusty at first on this one -- but I remembered most of my techniques from last year and nailed it! I was able to use a certain verbal clue to reach my destination!

As others have mentioned, definitely the only game in town!

Was looking forward to a deep dive today. Got it on my first shot. I'm sure I'll look back on this fondly at some point this month.

This destination I saw fairly clearly.
Love the 30 Days starting up again!
Takes the mind off all the painful political BS.
Wish our politicians had nothing to hide.
Good luck all

Check tomorrow. Daily winners announced the following day.
I forget, are those chosen randomly from all correct or 1st correct in?
Seen some are into catching it when it drops in the wee hours.
Cheers and good luck to all

"First correct answer" is definitely not a criterion. I remember reading in the breakdown on the landing page that one winner is randomly selected from each day's correct answers.

A little change, the wind and rain. As Autumn falls, we are thankful for this month of listening, downloading and guessing about one of our favorite pursuits! Thanks!

... but I was only 10 years old (a day short of that anyway). Yep, this one was not too far from Holmes. It's all about the drum(mer) roll(s) right before the gtr solo wow... The crisp right up front tone on that slide to follow in the solo. Some Lowell-like moments. Have fun! So glad this is back again! Good to see the people!

Edit to add: The displaying of comments is always a crazy learning curve. When you are on the 30 DoD main page (url dead dot net slash 30daysofdead) you may see the recent comments. But if you click into the day's particular song (red song title above the player on the main 30 DoD page) then you can choose options of viewing the comments and.... they may actually work... or not. Hey it's all fun. I tried selecting "ALL" from the drop down for views of comments but was denied (kept showing only 3). Then I tried "50" option. Success! All comments showed. Then I tried "ALL" and "ALL" then worked ok!. Hope that helps.
And for newcomers, the REPLY underneath a person's comment may have different results than the red "POST COMMENTS HERE" on the main 30 DoD page. As well the "ADD NEW COMMENT" section you see once you are "clicked into" the particular day's song page. It is a strange layout but you (almost/never ha) get used to it! Have fun!

Such a nice change of pace compared to the political hate speech and mud slinging going on right now. With that said, my submission was a total guess. Since it was a Seattle show, I figured it might be an omen...

Really do like this time. It brings many oh's and aha's . In addition, helps with my GD lore. Unless I was in attendance or by way of hearing it before and knowing the hint there won't be many guesses here. I miss my DBaseIV & JGB I- darn burglar. Anyhow, everybody have a joyous day, everyday. In Light.
