The Eyes of the World or Victim or the Crime.
Don't let that Deal go Down no no. yetay
was able to partake in this tasty - i would say morsel, but at 30 minutes, its more of a meal.
“I can tell the Queen of Diamonds by the way she shines
Come to daddy on the inside straight,
Well I got no chance of losing this time”
Ah VOTC... not too many people loved it, well except Bob, and the drummers always seemed to get a marching band kick out of it. Thank goodness for the redemption in a very long Eyes just after...The pair of songs clocks in just under 30 minutes.
This combination should be a freebie for most of us, but still had to wade through a couple of shows which brought back a lot of amazing memories and some sad ones too, due to the problems of the era. What I have to remember is, these shows were someone’s first, and for them the magic couldn’t be quantified.
been at this many years. am all alone doing it with only you guys online to talk to. my best year was 12-30 as i am tone deaf and it takes forever to find matches unlless i get a hint.
each year i make a days of the dead album and love to listen to it and have the different eras mixed.
repeats are great, one of my favorite deals. it will make the full 30 days a great listen.
NEVER HAD SUCH A GOOD TIME.
peace and love to all always
I was there too. I even taped it. Traffic warmed up and were quite good. I'll have to dig that tape up.
Thanks for making the past days available for download! I keep forgetting to get it done.
"The wheel is turning and you can't slow down"
today for everyone to knock out of the park. That Eyes is so sweet too. Just remember to keep you're eyes on the ball, smile and enjoy. Thanks for another lost beauty. Congrats Grant on the big win too!
but the show was truly like a cool breeze ...out of Eyes into Box.
Overall a pretty great show full of long standards...Terrapin and a fine Dew
today's version is dark and delicious. 4/16/88 - I was visiting my boyfriend who had moved west for work. We did the SEVA Benefit show at Pasadena Community College (Bobby, Brent, Crosby and Nash, Bonnie Raitt and Jackson Browne what a show from second row!!) and the three day run at Irvine Meadows. First time i heard Victim or the Crime was Bobby doing it acoustic at the Benefit show. When we heard it two months later at SPAC we smiled!!
I found this....looks like it was a great show. PCC is a small venue....
Helping One Another
April 16, 1988 | Pasadena Community College
David Crosby, Graham Nash, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Weir & Brent Mydland.
It was a show to remember. Still have the shirt with the 3rd eye but it no longer fits. Bob and Brent each performed solo and then dueted. If I remember Brent was on a grand piano. I remember Bob doing Victim or the Crime. Brent if my 31 year old memory doesnt fail me did Gentleman Start your Engines and Never Trust a woman. They dueted on Blackbird. David Crosby was just out of prison, was quite large and I remember someone saying KING David. Someone connected the guitar strap for him. JB was a surprise guest. Wavy emceed. Such good memories and I obviously had only partaken of minor party favors.
Hey I was there too! When I was trying to find a parking place on campus Bob and his lady crossed the street right in front of me. What a great, intimate venue that was.
re:Row Jimmy version...this was before SEVA formed.

I went to Dead shows for 20 years. I've been play 30 Days since day one the first year. This is only the second time they've had a show I was at. At least that I remember. Things are not quite as blurry as they were in the 70's though.
Easy search. Interesting transition between songs.
The 30 Days, we are hearing it.
Not one of my favorite tunes followed by one of my all time favorites.
Thanks again for all the music!
Won a deck of cards a few years ago. Though they have gotten pretty worn over the years, they will outlast a calendar! Still hoping for a repeat! Congrats to all winners so far! Couple more shots of whiskey, I'm goin' back to Minglewood!
Yesterday's BT Wind>Deal was a repeat from just last year, right?
There have been repeats before, and I don't get why that happens. It's not like there's not enough in The Vault to come up with new individual tracks for decades. But a repeat from last year? That's a little lazy, really.
