    Outstanding

The interplay and sound separation between everyone on this jam is amazing.

    A New (to me) Jam!

I've never heard or heard of that particular jam before. 30 Days always shows me something new. Thanks!

When you find the right venue and date but then enter the wrong venue from the gdset lists in error. Duh...
Welp, there is always tomorrow...

now that's some goood 30 days. was pretty certain i found it given the circumstances, despite my method trying to throw a slight curve ball, but it was a trick to keep time during all that other one, had to use both ears --was certain i was there but had to wait for a little he's gone to cement the choice. made for many enjoyable minutes of an interesting unsynced (?) other one home mix. i highly recommend it.

I'm pretty sure I just got this one in about 1 minute without even playing any music. That's too easy. I'll give it a listen a little later just to make sure.

Not a hint just wondering if many folks made it to the restart of Meet up at the movies? I had a very nice Saturday afternoon with my son catching the movie, gabbing a snack, and running some errands.

Boy how time flies, nice to be back in these November games with a chance to win and the time to explore and reminisce!

We went to the Tuesday showing in Simi Valley. Great quality and performances. Kind of disappointed it was the edited show though. Hopefully next year we'll get back to the full concerts.

I read somewhere that Phil didn't much like the stomp, and wanted it deleted from the first Dick's Pick, but at the risk of blaspheming the man, I think today's selection from Dave illustrates that artists can often be poor judges of the quality of their own work. His jam in the middle of this is stunningly beautiful, and I wish the band had used that particular melodic jam more often...

Totally agree judgedread - absolutely mesmerizing. Got me wondering what might have been if Mr. Lesh had ever written a chamber work like Bach's cello partitas - blasphemy for some?, but I think he's got it in him.
Now, about that glitch...gotta listen to some other sources to replace those crucial missing seconds leading to the first verse. But what follows is such a treat, the stomp, then the space, then... wow! Another gem. Hats off, Dave!

Hey chrisr777...I think they played all the video that was shot - it was for a European TV special.

as it tasted quite well done to me. No charring per se, but it definitely was cooked through, like my brain at the end of this tasty headfull.

But man o' man, how about Phil Lesh on this one! He was cooking and I've never heard him do so much noodling around as I did during this extended jam. At times I swore I could hear teases of several other familiar tunes like Playin', St. Stephen, and a couple other vaguely familiar jam segments which I could not identify the names of. The sounds of the coffin lid opening around the 21:00 mark was quite spooky. Reminded me of a certain show with Poe references.

Lots of fun and lots of thanks.

Took me a bit to come across this empty space
But finally the right show trembled and exploded and left a smoking crater on my mind.
These tunes might Steal your face right off your head
Crazy where this show was played. Loving the 30 Days!
Thanks David & Co!

First time playing and let me tell you does this help make my November so much better. Also don’t know if the Duprees or China>Rider was harder at this point. Gotten the rest right so far. Those 80s shows really give me trouble

It's the most developed version of the so-called Philo Stomp, pretty easy to identify the show.

Based on everyone's comments, I may be wrong, but I know that it is from one of my favorite GD eras! This is why I love the GD so much!

So great to hear that boogie-woogie bass driven section up close in the headphones! Only happened a few times w/the "three" song titles listed and split. But when searching be open to many possibilities... tape labelers and file namers come in different flavors. Enjoy!

Edit: went over to my synced pairing site to listen to rest all the way through again after submitting answer here and heard the missing section via aud patch. Very cool. The sync was perfect on this one and 1 or 2 others this year.

What a monster! I've listened to this jam about five times today. I, too, hope that the complete show will get released, although judging from what's on the internet it may not all be there.
