Or was it the hints reaching out in plain sight that narrowed it down within minutes? Either way, I'm happy to have found it on my 1st choice! Always fun when this happens!
Cheers!

Just said to my wife, "Now what am I supposed to do the rest of the morning?" Took me longer to make my coffee.
Enjoy your Sunday, everyone, First snow of the season coming tonight.

Compared to yesterday's bird song hunt, today's determination was decidedly less challenging, but none the less rewarding; the transition into Truckin' giving way to a limited number of possibilities; however, the comparative listens are always worth the time and journey. Let's continue enjoying the 30 Days of Dead ride together by keeing our guesses and answers out of our comments, since there really are not a ton of rules to follow besides that. One way or another, this darkness got to give. (~);}

decided to do a little listening first before picking this time. solid show, worth the listen. too bad they didn't include the tune before these two in this selection. it really tied the room together. not supposed to be a hint, just saying.

yeah ronmarley, it seems that when i have time to do some fun searching i find it quick, when i'm pressed for time it does it's best to keep hiding from me.

One way or another, this Day shouldn’t take you too long to narrow down.

One step done and another begun, we’ll see what tomorrow brings.

keep truckin' on all!

This was a lot easier than that Bird Song yesterday! Quickly narrowed down to 2 options and then it was a cakewalk.

Had the right show in mind but the SBD versions on Relisten had Jerry's tuning cut...

Zeroed right in on this one and it matched right up. Queuing up the show to hear it's all.

At some point, I'd love to win, also to know how many folks play. Snow on the ground in the Chicago area. Wish you all a nice rest of the weekend!

Two days in a row where Dave’s HINT actually helped in a search- the Bird Song appearing within a “decade of its release” (actually 10 years and one week, which narrowed it down to Brent’s first two years, or just about), and today’s HINT (which I will not discuss now… maybe tomorrow!)

Yes, I agree the last 2 days hints have helped narrow things down!

because of my weird late shift work schedule, i often get home just before midnight, and then sleep in late, so i am very grateful when Dave pitches an easy one like today, or when i nail it on the first try like yesterday.
and always grateful for the good music, and the good company here in November !

Second day in a row I've had that unmistakable feeling that I've been here before.......

Another bullseye - 2 days in a row with the first try! But I cannot even call it a "try". It would be impossible for me to get today wrong since I was there at the show. Wore the tapes out for years afterwards. Notes, chords, beats, words from this night all fingerprinted into the memory many times over. Some great treats in both sets! We were on the edge of our seats especially for that first set moment. Saw some great shows at this building.

Seeing as how it's getting on in the day this lazy Sunday, I presume you've all had a chance to search this very awesome yet gettable jam. So I'm going to rant for a minute and call out how, after a strong first 4 days of fresh material, we've had 3 repeats in the past 4 days. It still boggles my mind how there can be so many repeats year after year, what with the truckloads of material in the vault.

That's all. Still grateful, bless Jah

being as i am into words & poetry, in the old days i used to feel a little sad, or cringe, when Jerry or Bob would forget the lyrics.
but every November i am grateful for those flubs, as they help me be sure that i've picked the right show.
funny how perspectives can change !

Hmm, that doesn't sound like Donna in the background, and the keyboards don't sound like Bruce and Vince competing with one another. I can guess the decade! So what are they getting ready to play after the jam? I'm guessing it's one of the songs we've recently had in 30 Days.

Truckin' joined the repertoire in 1970, New Speedway Boogie in late 1969. The former stuck around consistently for 25 years (aside from 1976), while the latter was around in 1970, then gone until 1991, when it returned and was in the repertoire until 1995
