i'll tell ya what feels strange Bob, i missed the last 4 days. not because of wrong answers but because i didn't have enough time to play (except for studio day, did not even attempt that one) so with day 2 that makes five misses. more than all my 30 days combined. not a good showing for Hornsby this year.
Oh well at least when i'm able to guess I've gotten them right. Like today's show once again bringing back super great memories. This whole run one of the best times of my life (so far, ha ha , but will be hard to top) from the minute i actually scored tickets in the mail, actually made it there from Cincinnati, and the specialness of experiencing the whole freaking thing. life was grand back then for sure. unlike now when i can't even get to log into my 30 days. thanks for taking me back
super fun when the songs are from shows you actually got to see. second time so far this year.

This must've been an amazing run to have been at, Hornsby. How cool to find a 30 DoD selection that you actually saw live. I know there are others on here that have experienced this (not me).

No month of November is complete without a funky Stranger. Now let's get on with the show! I probably heard this before during one of previous year's searches, but now that I'm paying closer attention I hear some distinct idiosyncrasies, like a strange goof by the big guy which briefly throws the rest of the band. However, they all regroup and charge forward together into a nice closing jam. Good one, Monsieur Lemieux!

Got the song spot on but beware folks there is something that will catch some of you. You will want to remember frustrations from years past.

That was a a good hunt. Finally nailed it after listening to years of Strangers. I was actually at this show. A rockin' run. Again the issue of the proper venue name pops up as there are different possibilities in the drop down. Last year I went with one from this venue and the "official" answer was the other. Going with the other this time. But with my luck it will probably be the other other.

Listened to every possible entry that wasn't officially released from this keyboard player's era and didn't find it . Somethings amiss. Is it not listed at setlists.net?

I've found that 'relisten.net' is easier to navigate through the years and shows ...I look at song length to rule out many. Can't search for songs like with 'setlists', but with a DeadBase, I can narrow my search quite a bit. Using both could be a better way too. Hope it helps

Agree. name of building could fool you, but if you keep stumbling around a light will come on. I was at this show too.

I was able to get the year fairly quickly from that keyboard flourish when Bob sings "to" at the beginning verse. Another giveaway is Jerry's voice croaking during the first chorus. I sure wish I could have been at this show. It was the first song I ever heard with Dead & Company though. It was fun to see everybody groovin'.

Ladnarc, right there with you! I've seen you popping in throughout the day too, glad we finally got it!

Been hunting off-and-on throughout the day. This one was my hardest yet. I had the wrong keyboardist! Thanks for the clues from everyone, see you tomorrow!

Boy this was tougher than I thought and this show is hot! Setlist program, Relisten app helped me narrow it down and the piano after “to” was a great hint, thank you.

For fans of that era, it had a sound that was super similar to a version that was a good reference. Got me to in a 5-6 show window, then Bobby's delivery and raspier (is that a word??) voice than normal sealed it.

to the process today. My brain just was entertaining too many choices, and there are quite a few. My ears are going to rest now. Good luck everyone.
