. . . into Comes A Time . . . and dreamin' out of Lost Sailor. Oh my! Today's my birthday and what a gift to begin these first moments with. And now, well, wherever this show was played, I will drift off along Jerry's mesmerizing notes into dreamland. Ahhhh . . .
Thanks so much, Dave, for sharing this beautiful performance and for all the tunes this & every year!!!!
Happy B-day Ever Grateful. I'm grateful for the existence of The Grateful Dead, grateful for tripping over this game nine years ago, grateful for Dave et al and the music , grateful for the challenge of the game and how it has increased my appreciation for the subtleties and complexities in the music/recordings/venue/location variables, and grateful for those of you willing to espound your thoughts and feelings on all things related. Happy Holidays.
P.S. Pretty cool feeling to see one's name in lights after about 230/265 correct guesses.
LeeBob, always nice to see a regular win one! ;-)
Thanks, LeeBob. Grateful indeed! For everything you listed. How blessed are we!
in just the last 3 days. Woo hoo! Don't sweat venue name - is known as both.
So grateful for 30 days. And it reminds me each year to donate to Internet Archive.
Ditto! Thanks for the shout out for Internet Archive! I also always donate this time of year. The least I can do for the endless hours of joy it brings. Such an invaluable resource. Thanks for the reminder.
thank you sir may i have another!
Is it the 26th already? Feels like Thanksgiving today with this bounty of goodness to devour and enjoy. No clues necessary as this 4-song sequence was only performed one time (like yesterday). I started my search a little further on down the road based on Jerry's voice but eventually doubled back around to the correct source.
Thanks again David L for a real good time all month long. It's like Xmas morning every day!
"I've got an empty cup that only Phil can love"
Thank you very much, I'll be here all month.
Again with a venue with some conflicting name data out there.
I thought they would go with what is here in the archive. Not the case - wonder if the archive will get updated?
Love all of the selections but these strung together have been a great way to start the day. I got the date and show fast but not going to fret over the venue. Just going to listen a few times more Thanks!
To hell with it I'm going with what Deadbase has listed. lol
Did not make any of these shows but a cool tour I would have liked to have attended. 4 years later the bus came by!
This year's 30 Days now has two selections from the same week of a certain tour. Seems like maybe Dave's listening has been focused on a particular tour...
But literally only one show comes up when these get plugged into my resource...I had more time today, it's a snow day!
i love the easy peasy ones as i get to spend more time listening and less time searching. might set a personal record this year which isnt much but for mr tone deaf it is awesome 12 right, 7 wrong, 7 no guess. With 6 hours of a new playlist i am in heaven. be it a hall, auditorium, arena or cave, makes no difference
thanks dave for another trip thru november....it goes so quick
Thanks for all the recent treats!! Congrats to gr8tful Ted and Lee Bob. Go for the gold Hornsby!!
Going with Deadbase and Dead.net listing can't be wrong, right? And of course, there doesn't seem to be any stubs and/or posters flying around for this show. Enjoying the music regardless. Don't forget to check out the opener of this show.
I haven’t been out in public much this month but i have been playing along. I really appreciate this month of fun!
without the Internet Archive??? It is THE SOURCE for Relisten.net - setlists.net - deadlists.com ...every site I use for the 30 Days of Dead. Keep the music flowing....support the Archive..(~}:}
Where we were before the interwebs. Deadbase! I still use mine everyday...
Strange..I don't hear a thing from my Deadbase
That is to say, all sorts of Delicious and Delightful items on the menu. And FREE!
So I'll have the Sailor/Saint sandwich on Hunter bread with a KCJones cooler to go. Also for those of you not fully satiated, check out the sweet Sugaree for dessert. Can't wait to see what the special of the day is tomorrow.
Man, how I miss these guys...all of them. Back then, there never seemed to be a feeling it would end...good times, good vibes...glad I got on the bus....
This time I'll try the name actually printed on the building. Probably still wrong though.
Used the name from the dead.net archive. If that doesn't work what can you do? They usually follow what was printed on the ticket stubs but no pics today.
Sure don't know what I'm going for, but I'm gonna go for it for sure.
Take my advice you'd be better off with 30 Days of Dead
Got two good eyes but you still don't see.
Comes a time when the blind man takes your hand
Says, "Don't you see?
hinges on what Dave gave us for the name of the venue when he gave the answer to another song (as noted by brassinthegrass) from this very show that was gifted to us 6 years ago. The place reminds me of how the Felt Forum is actually inside MSG (i.e. two venues under the same roof).
that's 15 songs in six days!
thats one tasty sandwich. im gonna need a bigger hard drive after this years 30 days. would have been happy with just the comes a time. grate version. of course not unhappy my cup was filled with the rest.
keep em coming!
and yes support the archives. lots of other great music on there besides the dead and some really cool stuff besides music. exactly what the internet should be like and used for.
