seems there's more than three to choose from. day 29 might require a little searching

and find some time for the rest of this show!
Dave does it again - no one's gonna stay in their seat for this one! One can excuse the distortion of the vocals given the high energy coming out. And, boys and girls, some nice treats await toward the end of this show.
Only one more day?? Rock on!

Took a little bit of careful listening, but I found the one little detail that gave it away. I’ll actually be driving by the venue today.

This is a smokin' hot version, whew! What's the song they go into next?
Lotta poor man got the Cumberland bill. Distinctive piano play in the beginning.
Fun search today.
Peace,
smallz

I finally was selected as the winner for the 11th day winner....I'm curious.... how does Dead.Net obtain information on where to send the calendar or by chance the grand prize????.....

Seems pretty straight forward. If I have the era narrowed properly then I just have 176 possibilities to examine. Be a good time to get lucky.

It was time for me to get lucky and I did. I knew the general era, but I thought I knew the exact year because it sounded just exactly like that year, and lo and behold that's what year it is and a fine year it was indeed!

The piano intro and the wait for the lead guitar in the intro nailed it down for me. Got the 2 players to sync up and the first guitar solo was awash in wonderful phased out sound almost like a wah wah. This version has some FIERY lead guitar playing. It always was a great song for that twanging country / rockabilly / rock guitar.

Edit: There are some holes in the search results on various sites I have noticed. Cumberland was played at many shows! Some did not come up in the searches but when I looked date to date on Relisten in this era I found that they played it more consecutively than the search results on other sites would have you believe. This I guess is down to more statistical discoveries and show date corrections etc over the years and outdated search information showing up on some sites and not others.

Got the Other One > Black Peter last night and then fell asleep before entering.
Late east coast nights.
Nailed Cumberland tonight
29/29 (but only entered 28/29)

Fare thee well, i love this more than words can tell!

I don't know now, but if your ears don’t hear the sound to narrow down, your search may take some time.
I definitely know I’ll be coming back again for 1 more Day.
Very nice song choice today.
The sun is getting high, time to get on down the line.

yep 117 Cumberlands, was heading right, questioned myself, but in the end you can always count on Bobby. Who knows 5 more years & I might be ready for a Me and My Uncle. Cool Beans made my whole day. Thanks Dave

That vocal flub is the easy mark and I knew the year. Tested a couple before that early in the search. Phil in fine voice here as well. Nice long tear it up style one!
Cheers

I started a year or two off and slowly inched my way in the correct direction. Took longer than I thought it would but I found it. Going to sit back and listen to the entire show. Just one more day to go! Hoping for a great send off.

Woo hooo! Pleasantly surprised to wake up this morn to see I won for yesterday. Been at this for many years, and it’s always been about the hunt and discovery and this community. That’s what I’m thankful for each November. But hot damn! Winning is cool too!

What an amazing Cumberland...and a freakin' hot show! Thanks Dave and everyone. We have so much to be grateful for! Lost our home and everything we own in a wildfire this year, but me and the family are still truckin'..what a long strange trip it's been! Wishing all of you all the best!

Some mischevious monkeys must have left their banana peels laying around causing the band to slip not only once but twice during this performance. Keys and drums really stand out on this fantastic recording.

I can’t believe how long it took me to find today’s CUMBERLAND by once again trying to uncover the Bobby vocal flub. I was almost ready to just give it up- but that wasn’t gonna happen! If I had only listened to the clue at the VERY END of the song I would have narrowed it down to the only four possibilities and nailed it in two minutes…stoooopid

So If I got lost in the setlists yesterday, it's because I wasn't sure if these go to Eleven.

No mystery today about this smoking Cumberland warming our faces. Feels right about the hot tempo we cranked through this whole month of great music together. Enjoy one more day!
