Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we have Grateful Dead music from 1984, 1988, and 1991.

Our first selection this week is from the start of the second set of the final night of a three night run at Red Rocks, on 6/14/84, featuring Shakedown Street>Playing In The Band>Dear Mr. Fantasy, this being the first Dead performance of Dear Mr. Fantasy.

Next is the start of the second set from the tour-opening show of the Summer Tour of 1988, on 6/17/88 in Bloomington, MN, featuring a quite common second set opener of that year, China Cat Sunflower>I Know You Rider, Estimated Prophet>Eyes Of The World.

Lastly this week is another second set opener, from 6/16/91 at Giants Stadium, an excellent show despite living in the shadow of the terrific next night. From the first night, we have Jack Straw ; Crazy Fingers ; China Cat Sunflower > I Know You Rider.

Be sure to join us here next week for more music from the vault.

Hey Now Schoney...According to the Taper's Section index blog (which incidentally has not been updated since '15) the post-Space from this Bloomington gig has appeared in this section at least once before (Oct. 2011). Alas, the links to those music clips seem to be lost to the ether...(at least for the moment, have fingers firmly crossed they eventually reappear).
