Welcome back to the Tapers’ Section, where this week we’ll wrap up 2018 and jump into 2019 with some Grateful Dead music from 1969, 1971, and 1972.
Our first selection this week is from 10/25/69 at Winterland, a terrific Live/Dead sequence of Dark Star> St. Stephen > The Eleven > Turn On Your Lovelight, with Stephen Still sitting in on that final song.
Next is a big blast of great 1971 Grateful Dead from Keith’s 3rd show with the Dead, featuring Ramble On Rose ; Cumberland Blues ; Cryptical Envelopment > Drums > The Other One > Cryptical Envelopment. The tail of this sequence cuts on the master reel.
Lastly this week is a big second set jam from 10/24/72 in Milwaukee, featuring Truckin' > The Other One > Drums> The Other One> He's Gone> The Other One.
