She took the wheel and paid my ticket. I owe her a debt of gratitude. It was honor to be in her presence and graced by her energy.

Hey everyone — I know the chances of this working are slim, but my slightly-stoned brain told me to trust the universe (and social media), so here we are.
I’m a 5’1” mixed girl (lightskin) with orange/reddish hair, and I was at the Dark Star Orchestra Jubilee 2025 in Thornville, OH, specifically Sunday night. My cousin and I made our way to the right side of the crowd to get closer to the band — and more importantly, to dance our souls out.
That’s when I noticed him.
Tan skin, long light brown hair, no facial hair. Brown eyes, probably around my age (I’m 20). He had on a dark blue long-sleeve button-up over a white band tee (I wish I could remember which band it was!), jeans, and sandals. Classic hippie. We locked eyes a couple of times, and he had the cutest smile. We danced near each other during Shakedown Street and Althea, and according to my cousin, he kept dancing his way closer to me all night — and I was too blissed out to notice.
Right before the second set, we made eye contact again. He smiled. I smiled. Then I remembered I had to pee, so I walked away. Tragic, I know.
I was wearing striped pants and a red Grateful Dead “San Francisco 1969” shirt — spinning like a madwoman and vibing hard. If you’re out there, mystery dancer… I hope you see this. Or maybe someone who knows you does. You were adorable, had great moves, and your energy was beautiful.
If the universe doesn’t bring us back together this year, I really hope you’ll be there next year.
Thanks to everyone sharing this. Peace, love, and good tunes 💫 - IrishDave22

I knew Domo from school too. Good times.
Is anybody else out there a dead head from Bullis HS in the late 80's? Did you attend our little Trips festival we had in Fall '86 at school during 'Recreation Day' or some such thing?

A friendly Deadhead encounter at a Dollar General in Pearcy, AR
I'm trying to get in touch with a beautiful young Deadhead girl, named Cheleese, with whom I did not have nearly enough time to talk. We met at the Dollar General Store in Pearcy, Arkansas.
If anyone knows her by golly, let her know that I could not hear her e-mail contact info that she shouted out to me, as it was too loud in the store! I NEED A MIRACLE!
Kindly, uncleJames
You Know Who You Are!
Yeah you.....
You stole my brand new Dead shirt I just bought and pulled through my belt loop while I was in line at the gate at Alpine Valley in '85.
I felt a tug, turned around and you were long gone.
So not cool!

mind of regrets from time to time. perhaps it wasn't meant to be or, perhaps you are my destiny!!

I'm looking for Ron "Ripper" Corey..
Anyone know Ripper? Or his whereabouts? I'm an old friend from the early 90's who's looking to reconnect w/ Ripper. I grew up in NY and moved to San Francisco in 1991 with another Deadhead buddy. I met Ripper one morning laying in the bed of his Toyota pickup in the campgrounds at the Eugene shows. I was stumbling around one early morning after the show and started jawing w/ him. He asked me if I wanted a Guinness? It was about 8am. That was the beginning a wild fucking day and a long friendship. We partied the rest of that weekend and probably met back up when we returned to the Bay Area. From there he said, Let's drive to the shows in Vegas. Hell yeah! It was most likely early 1994. When that West Coast run ended he said, Let's drive cross country and go to the big Woodstock 94' concert. Hell yeah! We we're on a roll and having a blast. And by this time we had a big crew of people that we're hanging w/ us and seeing shows. So we drove up through Idaho and tripped out w/ some wild people, crossed the country and saw GD shows at The Palace in Michigan. Finally got to NY. We posted up on my folks porch and partied for days. My Mom loved Ripper. We gave her a pot plant that was in car. Somehow we managed to keep it alive and watered it while driving cross country. We did all the Giants Stadium shows. Then Ripper went up to Mass to meet his buddies, I stayed in NY and we both went to Woodstock 94' with our friends. Then we met back up in the Bay area later in early Fall. And we hung out all through the mid 90's. I would run into Ripper in San Rafael. Sitting outside New George's. And I once put an add on Craigslist asking if anyone knew where Ripper was? Someone replied that he went back to Mass. and he's involved in a big Grateful Dead fan club or something. Well, I've been out in CA for 30 years and I'm moving back to NY. It's been a good run out here but I need to get back to my roots. And I need to find Ripper so I can pick up where we left off. Or maybe a mellower version of that. Maybe you know him from the Bay Area? Maybe you know him from the Mass. Deadhead scene. Tell him Frankie from NY is looking for him. He'll know. He can contact me at frankcoviello1999@yahoo.com Ciao...

Im looking for Sandy Ritt,…
Im looking for Sandy Ritt, my dear friend from Isla Vista days, who introduced me to "Against the Stage, front and center" at Winterland, and Berkeley Keystone, while frying. Lost track, late 1980s, married a guy named Robert Mateo, used to live in Berkeley
She was the one and I let her slip away......
This is a little different…
This is a little different than what's usually put here, but I'm looking for bluegrass musicians or people knowledgeable about bluegrass who would be willing to do a quick interview via zoom. I'm a student working on a project talking specifically about the banjo but also about bluegrass music generally, and as part of it I'm conducting a bunch of interviews with musicians, instrument builders, professors, and music lovers. The end product is gonna be a multimedia thing that will include some video stuff, some written stuff, some photography stuff, and maybe some other stuff who knows. If you'd be interested in doing an interview, know someone who would be interested, or have anything else you wanna tell/ask me about please feel free to PM me or comment on this
