It rainbow then exploded, left a bus stop in its place. The bus come by and I got on, thats when it all began. It was Cowboy Neal at the wheel of the bus to never ever land"

Gratefultwinz, You should definetly check out Hot Tuna. Different from the Dead but much the same in some ways. They are very blues oriented. Go see them and let us know what you think!

Don't miss them. Jamming some, yes. But much of it will be awesome acoustic or electric blues. Hot Tuna is sometimes electric, sometimes acoustic and sometimes both in the same show. Water Song one of my favorites, have never tired of it. Jorma and Jack have been playing together now for over 50 years, since they were teenagers in the D.C. area in the 50's. IMHO the connection they have between themselves in guitar bass interaction is only matched by The Grateful Dead, the original ABB and current ABB. If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is, infinite. William Blake

I haven't seen Hot Tuna for 10 yrs or so, but I caught Jorma Kaukonen a couple of times last year doing his acoustic country blues thing. Very tasty, another old guy who doesn't appear to have lost a step.

I agree. They are definitely worth checking out. Especially for $25... "Escaping through the lily fields, I came across an empty space. It rainbow then exploded, left a bus stop in its place. probably the Going Furthur topic would be your best bet.
