Do wish them good luck for being a savvy entrepreneur?

Or do you wish Rhino had limited the sale to one per person

Or do you think wow it saved me buying a record I would have played only once so it’s helping me save money for a better cause.

    Or....

Not really, I understand the whole "Limited Edition" thing, and yes I can go buy from ebay or amazon later, wouldn't be the first time. The weird part is your assumptions with that statement. My stance on "limited editions" hasn't changed (not that you ever knew my stance on anything, anyway), I think as I have for decades that "limited editions" are silly. Who do they think is gonna be buying it right away? Collectors of course, that's basically all this site sells is "manufactured collector's items" (which is an oxymoron if you really think about it). So why not scope out the demand? See how many people pre-order, or keep a pre-order window of time, 48 hrs even, 72 hrs, then manufacture how many are already paid for. I don't personally care about owning something "limited", I am a collector like most people who buy this stuff, I get off on having these things as part of my collection, not on how limited they are or how "rare" it is because of how limited it was. In fact, the "limited edition" aspect has never been part of what drives me to collect this stuff, I love the Grateful Dead, and this is my hobby. I would have bought this limited edition or not.

Ltd means ltd. I like doing business with a company that keeps its word. Even when it hurts me. I missed out on the poster last time even though I was pretty quick on the draw. This time I made it just in time. Saw the email went right to it yes for sale. Bought it. Maybe 5 minutes later checked and it was greyed out. As far as flipperes I'm not sure if they did it this time. Normally they limit to 2 the number one can purchase. There's always ebay. I get my poster eventually. Thank to Rhino for keeping your word

Not hard to understand. He is a collector. He probably wants one of each style released, regardless of whether it is limited or not. I think the suggestion to increase the number pressed was based on how quickly they sold out.
Keep an eye open because they do "restock" on here occasionally.

    There are more versions

You do realize that they are pressing a standard version, right? There's also the picture disc...and the inevitable Barnes and Noble exclusive pressing, plus countless other vendor exclusives. You won't have a gap in your collection, you just missed out on the Dead.net limited pressing.
I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to say. Seems like you enjoy the idea of a limited pressing and want a limited pressing for your collection, but because you missed out this time you somehow have changed your position on limited pressings? Weird.

I agree that sold out within 24 hours means they ought to press more. This is gonna put a gap in my 50th anniversary collection.

So pretty, sold out quick. Seems 4000 is too limited. feeding the resellers by allowing multiple copies per order maybe? How many can be ordered at once? not good.
EDIT: Missed it and I was bummed. Checked back later and got one! Thanks!!!

Fahk the one time I dont use PayPal because I just moved and the updating gave me problems. Oh well, last time someone stole my CC info they bought 2 train tickets from Hartford to Houston, rented an RV, filled said RV with gas, took a Walmart shopping spree and went to a Nascar race....no joke.

Love the colors and the record label is awesome! Thanks for upping the edition size from 2000 to 4000 for this one.

Missed out on this because my CC was just canceled due to the email from Warner Music getting hacked. Thanks a lot for your lax shit security. Better press another 4000 more.
